We believe high-quality productions of Baroque music and drama should be open to everyone. By observing and challenging traditional access to classical music culture, we aim to produce events that will entice and entertain both new and seasoned audiences. These events will be a platform for emerging artists to perform and create alongside some of the industry’s leading lights. We celebrate diversity and want to nurture a sense of belonging for all our artists and audience members.
We would love you to join our community of supporters who share this vision. Our supporters – known as VBFriends – receive opportunities throughout the year to become more closely involved in our work, both behind the scenes and at performances and other events.
As a VBFriend you can expect:
★ Regular e-updates on VBF news
★ Priority booking for all VBF events
★ Invitations to events during the year, such as recitals, masterclasses and webinars *
★ A free glass of fizz for you and a guest at our Summer Festival *
★ Access to the private VBFriends archive on our website, featuring exclusive behind-the-scenes content and opportunities to connect with other supporters
★ Your name to be listed as a supporter on our Thank You page, unless you prefer to be anonymous
★ Your name to be listed as a supporter in our Festival programme, unless you prefer to be anonymous
★ Other exciting and bespoke opportunities as they come up!
Above all, we want you to feel proud to be supporting our work as a registered charity and empowered by sharing our vision and mission. All donations go straight back into supporting our activities, so the more VBFriends we have, the more work we can do.

How much should I give?
This is up to you! Everyone is different, from their motivations for support to their personal financial circumstances. That said, we know it’s often helpful to understand what others give, so here are some examples:
Several of our supporters give us £5 per month and we are so grateful for their commitment to us. Others donate £10 per month, £25 per month, £50 per month or £100 per month. Regular gifts like these are incredibly valuable as they enable us to plan ahead thanks to a sustained source of income.
Some VBFriends prefer to give a single donation. These usually range from £50 to £10,000, but we are grateful to receive donations of any size. Every single donation to VBF is deeply valued.
The most important thing is that you give at a level and frequency that feels appropriate to you. If you would like to discuss your giving in more detail, don’t hesitate to contact us.
If you are considering making a significant donation to us, please do get in touch. We are mindful that everyone’s idea of a significant donation is different, which is why it’s good to talk!
As a major donor, you would have opportunities to become more involved in our activities and to build a closer relationship with the VBF team. We can also discuss opportunities to support particular aspects of our work that excite you the most.

HOW TO GIVE
The easiest and safest way to give is online via the links above. If you are considering a large donation, we recommend a direct bank transfer in order to avoid high fees charged through making large payments online. Contact us to request our bank details.
If you would prefer to donate by cheque, please send it to The Vache Baroque Festival, The Vache, Vache Lane, Chalfont St. Giles, Bucks, HP8 4SD.
If you’d like to Gift Aid your donation, the quickest way to submit a declaration is via this form.
OTHER WAYS TO SUPPORT
If you’d like to help us but can’t commit to a donation at the moment, there are lots of other ways you can show your support. You could:
★ Spread the word about VBF to friends, family and colleagues
★ Talk about us on social media
★ Buy tickets to our events
★ Volunteer at one of our events or for other Vache Baroque projects throughout the year.
Contact us to discuss our current volunteering opportunities, or if you’d simply like to learn more about supporting Vache Baroque.
All the VBFriends “benefits” listed above are valued within the limits set by HMRC, enabling us to claim Gift Aid on donations we receive. For this reason, we are only able to provide “a free glass of fizz for you and a guest” to VBFriends who donate £50+ per annum. Likewise, we are able to offer all VBFriends invitations to exclusive events, but we need to ask those donating less than a certain amount to pay a small additional cost to attend.
If you make a recurring donation, we calculate these benefits based on a projected annual sum. If you make a one-off donation, you will be able to enjoy these benefits for up to 12 months after your gift. We hope they will inspire you to support us again!
